أهلًا بكم إلى العدد التاسع والخمسين من مجلة الملحدين العرب. نفتتح العدد بمقال للدكتور عبد العزيز القناعي بعنوان ‪»‬القصيمي‪«‬، عن ‪المفكر‬ السعودي الراحل، تلي ذلك حلقة جديدة من سلسلة مقالات هدم أسطورة دين العفة لموسى ثمانون، وموضوع هذه الحلقة عن عفة الأنبياء. أما في رحلة الرافدين لMohammed Waleed هذه المرة، فتقرؤون عن أساطير التكوين في بلاد من ما بين النهرين. ‪تتبع‬ ذلك قصة قصيرة بعنوان «هكذا رأيت الإله» بقلم سامية شرف الدين (رويدة سالم)، ثم يقدم لنا أسامة البني ترجمة لمقال بعنوان «المسلمون السابقون في الهند» بقلم Tofail Ahmad. وفي زاوية قراءة في كتاب هذه المرة يقدم لنا شادي سليمي كتاب «العرب ومستقبل الثقافات القومية» لمدحت محفوظ. المقال الرئيسي في هذا العدد يكتبه لنا طائر حر وهو بعنوان «تعرف على الرائيلية»، عن تلك ديانة ظهرت في العقود الأخير‪ة والتي تتمحور حول الكائنات الفضائية‬. يلي ذلك حلقة جديدة من «سيرة محمد بن آمنة» من منشورات شارلي إيبدو وهي عن حرب الفجار وتحالف الأشراف، ثم الحلقة الثالثة من رواية «سقوط الإله» بقلم Noha Selem. والختام ‪ب‬كاريكاتور لموسى ثمانون. نتمنى لكم قراءة ممتعة ومفيدة.

Welcome to the 59th issue of the Arab Atheists Magazine‪.‬ We open with ‪“‬al‪-Qasemi”‬ an article by Dr‪.‬ Aziz ‪Alqenaei, then the second installment of Moussa Eightyzz’s “Deconstructing the myth of the religion of modesty”, this time about modesty of prophets, followed by the second part of “The Mesopotamian Journey” by Mohammed Waleed, where he writes about the Mesopotamian myths of genesis. After that, you’ll read a short story by Rwaida Salem titled “That’s How I saw God”. Then Usama al-Binni presents a translation of “Ex-Muslims of India” by Tofail Ahmad. The book review this time is by Shadi Salimi who reviews “Arabs and the future of nationalist cultures” by Midhat Mahfooz. Our feature article this month is about a recent mysterious religion by Ta’ir Hur with the title “Introducing Raëlism”. After that you’ll read a new episode in the Arabic translation of Charlie Hebdo’s “La vie de Mahomet”, followed by the third installment of Noha Selem’s novel “The Fall of God” and finally a cartoon by Moussa Eightyzz. We hope you’ll find this an enjoyable and beneficial read.

نقدم لكم العدد الثامن والخمسين من مجلة الملحدين العرب. نفتتح العدد بمقالٍ للدكتور عبد العزيز القناعي بعنوان «المسلم»، وبعد ذلك نبدأ بالجزء الأول من سلسلة مقالات بقلم موسى ثمانون بعنوان «هدم أسطورة دين العفة»، وهذه الحلقة ستتناول عرضًا لأجزاء السلسلة إضافةً إلى تقديم عن موضوع الجنس والعيب. يتبع ذلك مقال مترجم بعنوان «عربي بلا رب!» يتناول مسيرة وليد الحسيني في تركه للإسلام بقلم Barry Duke وترجمة Usama al‪-‬Binni. وفي زاوية «قراءة في كتاب» هذه المرة يقدم لنا Majd Ha استعراضًا لكتاب «تاريخ موجز للزمن» لستيفن هوكنغ. مقالنا الرئيسي في هذا العدد هو الحلقة الأولى من سلسلة مقالات بعنوان «رحلة الرافدين» وهي بقلم Mohammed Waleed، وتدور حول البدايات الأولى لحضارة بلاد الرافدين والميثولوجيا التي ساهمت في تشكيلها. بعد ذلك، يقدم إيهاب القسطاوى الجزء الثاني من سلسلة مقالات «الاستعمار العربي: صفحة دموية من تاريخ مصر»‪.‬ بعد ذلك تقرؤون في زواية «تصحيح المفاهيم» مقالًا بعنوان «لماذا لا يلتزم الملحد العربي الصمت؟» يكتبها Ahmad F‪.‬ Alabbasi. إثر ذلك نقدم لكم الحلقة السابعة من «سيرة محمد بن آمنة» المترجمة عن منشورات شارلي إيبدو وهي عن أول رحلة لمحمد إلى الشام. ولمتابعي رواية «سقوط الإله» بقلم Noha Selem نقدم لكم الحلقة الثانية. ونختم كالعادة بكاريكاتور لموسى ثمانون. نتمنى لكم قراءة ممتعة ومفيدة.

Welcome to the 58th issue of the Arab Atheists Magazine. We open with an piece by Dr. Aziz Alqenaei titled “The Muslim” followed by the “Deconstructing the myth of the religion of modesty”, which is the first part in a series of articles by Moussa Eightyzz. This is followed by a translation of a piece on Waleed al-Husseini by Barry Duke called “Palestinian exile publishes book
about his rejection of Islam”. This month Majd Ha reviews Stephen Hawking’s “A Brief History of Time”. The feature article this time is the first in a series of articles by Mohammed Waleed reviewing the history and mythology of Mesopotamia, this one will examine the beginnings. Then we read the second installment of “Arab Colonialism: A Bloody Page in Egypt’s History” by Ehab Elkstawy. The “Common Misconception” for this issue is “Why doesn’t the Arab Atheist stay quiet?” By Ahmad F. Alabbasi. Following that is a new episode in the Arabic translation of Charlie Hebdo’s “La vie de Mahomet”, and then the second installment of Noha Selem’s novel “The Fall of God” and we end as usual with a cartoon by Moussa Eightyzz. نقدم لكم العدد السابع والخمسين من مجلة الملحدين العرب. نفتتح العدد بمقال للدكتور عبد العزيز القناعي تحت عنوان «الشتات العربي بين الدين والمعرفة»، يتلوه مقال «الاستعمار العربي، صفحةٌ دمويةٌ في تاريخ مصر» بقلم إيهاب القسطاوى، ثم يقدم لنا Omar Hussein مقالًا جديدًا عن «الربوبية بين الدين والإلحاد.» وفي زاوية «قراءة في كتاب» يراجع شادي سليمي كتاب «تعليم المقهورين» للكاتب البرازيلي پاولو فرير. أما المقال الرئيسي في هذا العدد فهو «ملحد بغداد» بقلم Ahmad F. Alabbasi ويتحدث فيه عن المفكر والكاتب العراقي جميل الزهاوي وعن ما مر به كرجل عشق الوطن فأغضب السلطان. وفي «زاوية تصحيح المفاهيم» هذه المرة يكتب Usama al-Binni تصحيحًا للادعاء «أنتم تلحدون لتتحرروا من قيود الأخلاق». بعد ذلك تجدون حلقةً جديدةً من «سيرة محمد بن آمنة» المترجمة عن منشورات شارلي إيبدو، وفي هذا العدد نبدأ معكم سلسلة حلقات رواية جديدة بعنوان «سقوط الإله» بقلم Noha Selem. نختم العدد كالعادة بكاريكاتور بريشة الفنان موسى ثمانون مع بعض التعليقات عليه. نتمنى لكم قراءة شيقة ومفيدة.

We introduce the 57th issue of the Arab Atheists Magazine. This time we open with an piece by Dr. Aziz Alqenaei titled “Arab Fragmentation: between religion and knowledge”. This is followed by “Arab Colonialism: A Bloody Page in Egypt’s History” by Ehab Elkstawy. After that, Omar Hussein writes “Deism: Between Religion and Atheism”. This month’s book review is by Shadi Slimi, where he writes about “Pedagogy of the Oppressed” by Brazilian thinker Paulo Freire. The featured article for this issue is about Iraqi thinker and writer Jamil az-Zahawi, where Ahmad F. Alabbasi talks about his legacy in “Atheist from Baghdad”. Then, Usama al-Binni explores the Common Misconception “You Become Atheists to Free Yourselves from Morality”. Following that is a new episode in the Arabic translation of Charlie Hebdo’s “La vie de Mahomet”, and then we start a new serialized novel titled “The Fall of God” by Noah Selem, and end as usual with a cartoon by Moussa Eightyzz.
